About:
Dr Laura Lukins completed her medical training in 2018 at the University of New England, Armidale. She undertook her internship, residency and senior residency years within the Central Coast Local Health District, working between Gosford, Wyong and Woy Woy Hospitals.

Laura enjoyed her hospital rotations through various specialities, however the appeal of general practice with its continuity of care, patient centred approach and focus on preventative health care was evident during her hospital time and she began GP training in 2022.

Laura is currently in her final semester of GP training and is excited to delve further into how a focus on lifestyle medicine can help chronic conditions, and help prevent many more.

She enjoys all the complexities of general practice, and particularly loves women's health and preventative care.
