We are certain that by following our evidence-based food rules and learning how to exercise and move more with confidence, you will not only improve your Diabetes outcomes but add quality of living too.

If you are diagnosed as a Diabetic, you are eligible for x8 Medicare Rebatable Group Classes with our Accredited Exercise Physiologist, Jesse Krieger.

These classes are delivered in a group setting, with programming tailored to the individual to help support & manage your health outcomes.

    • Duration: 45 minutes

    • Assessment: Jesse will review your medical and social history, evaluate your current physical ability and create a report & plan for your classes.

    • Cost: $145 (Medicare rebate $77.40). A deposit of $70.00 is payable at the time of booking. Balance payable on the day of appointment.

    • Where: Across the carpark at our affiliate gym, “Good Well” - a small, friendly, non-judgemental & safe space.

    • Class Size: Classes may vary from a minimum of 2, to a maximum of 12 participants.

    • Duration: 60 minutes

    • Frequency: One class per-week, for 8 consecutive weeks.

    • Cost: $30 per-class (Medicare rebate $19.30 per-class). Classes can be paid for in blocks of x4 or x8. Your rebate will be applied at each class.

    • You are welcome to continue attending classes beyond your first 8 weeks at the same cost, however a Medicare rebate is not available.

Class Overview

Our Diabetic Group Exercise Classes are exclusively available for our Diabetic Patients.

If you would like to benefit from these Medicare Rebated classes, please call Life Medical Centre, and advise our team you would like to join, and request that your usual GP generates an “EPC for Diabetic Group Exercise” for you.

About Jesse

Our on-site Diabetes Group Exercise Physiologist, Jesse, is both an Accredited Exercise Scientist and Accredited Exercise Physiologist with Exercise and Sport Science Australia (ESSA). Jesse’s training years included working within both private practice and hospital settings, so he is familiar with clients at both ends of the health spectrum. Jesse’s broad experience and approach caters to assist you in increasing your movement levels safely, with confidence and joy.

Jesse brings a youthful enthusiasm to help motivate you back to your best, while listening to your story, and identifying and supporting you to overcoming your barriers to exercising at your best level.
